Skills Rodeo at SGTC

South Georgia Technical College had its “Skills Rodeo” for the Fall Electrical Line Worker Apprentice Certification Programs. Ten of the graduates in the program were participants in Georgia Power’s Summer Internship Program. During the Skills Demonstration, participants were able show skills in climbing, pole top rescue, and changing out transformers. Upon graduation, students will have the opportunity explore employment opportunities in line work and other skilled trades positions in the energy industry.
